After graduation I attended Cal State University Long Beach and earned a BA in Spanish Literature and a Secondary teaching credential.

I married George Gallardo (ER 1967) in 1975 and divorced in 2000. We had 2 children, Marissa 34 and Michael 30. Michael married his 7th grade sweetheart, Sara in 2014 and we now have 2
beautiful granddaughters, Selena, 2 and Sophia, 7 mos.
